In order for me to play properly with fullscreen I need to run xinit -- :1 before.

Otherwise I have keyboard focus problems.

When I have xinit -- :1 in practice it is another terminal that I'm running war2.
simplescreenrecorder (ssr) has no option to record an alternative terminal.
If I run ssr at that terminal then it takes all the focus and I can't execute a second app (warcraft2 in our case).
I will still search for a work around but for now, it is going to be window when I'm streaming.

I got 2 graphic cards and obs doesn't have the option to choose one like in @lance ss. It works for all games besides war2 just black screen with sounds...

did you follow the guide at http://en.war2.ru/stream ? If you're on win7 you need uscreencapture + copy the cursor fix files into the uscreencap dir + run the reg file after you add it to OBS to fix the black/red screen. it's all in the guide! if you're on win8+ you can just use monitor capture without the need for any of that
