To nitpick and be totally fair I don't buy the "guns won't help against an evil government because they have drones and bombs and tanks" argument though, people with shitty weapons in lots of countries fuck up US forces all the time. There's other reasons "I need guns to fight the government" is a dumb argument ("right to bear arms" in the US context represents no threat to the state whatsoever because gun culture is so reactionary, is a form of American capitalist influence via the arms industry, utility as social control) but that's not one of them.
