We need to create a view in the room to display the normal res, then use the image used in games so minimap will fit in war2 graphics, and the game screen. This is so we can display icons on the left, pause, menu, resources, allys, chat, etc...

im looking threw others people shits and combining some and changing cause ive got no choice forums suck for learning and documentation also. theirs not alot of 8.1 tutorials all that shit seems to have disappeared!oh yeah i forgot to add man u got to look out for memory leaks and shit there was one net code that done it.
hey that mini map does display color it works pretty good .
if were going for a war2 clone need good shit and using our on code well code that u understand is a dam must.
have some way the map editor could work wit it idk lots of shit..adding in useless magic spells. building a look alike bnet and title menu would be easier.
im putting all my shit in folders like resource gathering just make shure shits easy to find.
u can export import like say i was working on a gyrocoptor i can export it out and u import in ur project and just add the object to be in something walla, its a good sharing program even if our movements was different but i would want the same scripts just to keep shit from being confusing.
i think we can pull it off but i want a good unit script so it has all our units covered damage health etc.

We could make warcraft 2 I'll do humans first. Then use humans as a parent object so orc can be a child of human but different sprites.

got the mining/harvesting trnsition to work.
ok man send me your source for your movement ill work on a peon mining and choping wood keep shit compatable.
i tried again on mine ... congrats lol! still same sheet....u using the 8.1 or studio?

Awesome! The sprites make it look weird. I will be exactly like war2, just different you know lol. We can make the tadpoles and replace the graphics later

the movement cant be changed in tapoles lol he has a motion code going on would have to be remade into a 2d movement like yours. otehrwise its like a peon laying down in the dirt doing 360 its top view not iso.
im just going to make it simple as hell right now see if we can do a multi in it other stuff just a test subject .
the good thing about yours since u got a mouse object later on like with a mage u can have it change to a blizzard object change instance of orge magi into lusted orge etc etc u will be glad u done it that way!
soon as u get a health, damage ,range ull be there.
