I don't think "Polish death camps" or "American 9/11 attacks" are offensive in and of themselves, since it is not technically incorrect. Neither term means the death camps or the 9/11 attacks were administered by Poland or the US, it is an accurately used adjective that tells you where these things took place geographically. Unless you're a retarded nationalist like all Poles are and take offense to all kinds of stupid meaningless shit.
