It's finally done! After years of making, it's time to release my WC3 Map Pack!

These maps guarantee competitive, fun and fair fights!
A few years back I got the idea to make some maps inspired by some of the most popular maps from Warcraft 3. I also wanted to make better, fair and more competitive maps for High Resources - EF play.

Since it is hard to find people that really want to beta test the maps I've been working hard by my own with balancing and finding bugs. So hopefully they are solid enough. They are all counting on the ladder.

Some of the maps includes rocks in the terrain. On my maps you can always build right next to the rocks, so you can close off chokes easily. There is also some runestones to help game play with chokes close to water. In earlier versions players could build on light dirt, I removed this since it confused players too much, it was mostly a design thing, to make maps look more like original WC3.

I also wanted to make more 1v1 competitive smaller maps like Starcraft and Wacraft 3 maps. The issue with Warcraft 2 is that there is no good way of observing in game. So even if the original map is just two spawns I balanced the map for 4 spawns, making the expansions as extra spawns. Even if there is four spawns these maps won't work that good in 2v2, they are made for 1v1. There is also one bigger map that works with 4v4, Lost Temple.

Solid 1v1 maps: Terenas Stand BNE, Echo Island BNE

Turtle Rock BNE, Twisted Meadows BNE also works good for 1s...

Would be nice if this map pack could be added to next War2Combat release.

Since they are all well known maps in RTS community I think this could be a nice addition to Warcraft 2.

I think lost temple and turltle rock have really big potential!!

Need some important modification to bring more strategies on them, but overall they are pretty nice.

I like turtle rock (turtle 'island'?) ... ruins are kind of weird and throw errors in map editor but it is a fun map

Thank you guys! Yeah runes is more a fun thing. First time you play it, you might get confused for a second, but shouldn't be a big deal. Yeah you can't edit this map in normal map editor, it's a lot of things going on under the hood. I hope people would like to try out these maps for real. They are very competitive. They would have been better if there where people that wanting to test them. But I think they good enough for give a fair fight for both players and fun games!

I played my two latest maps a bit and came to the conclusion that I had to change some stuff. I did some major updates to Echo Isles and Turtle Rock. Hopefully this is the final release. If you dl the old versions, please delete the old version and re-download again please.
