There is an academic book called "Gaming before E-Sports" subtitled "Examining the Evolution of Gaming and Its Impact on Social, Cultural, and Political Perspectives by Valentine, Keri Duncan, Jensen, Lucas John. Chapter 8 is basically dedicated to the Warcraft 2 Occult forums.

Everyone give it 5 stars!
