The tournament today had a lot of very good players so I was happy with turn out.

But it was extremely hectic dealing with so many people at once.
Also the server crashed halfway through the tourney.
So I apologize to anyone who was annoyed in any way of how I hosted this tourney.

With that said I am happy about the results, and I thank all those who participated.

And by the way RaT if you reading this page your prize money is still unclaimed so please message me to clear that up.

Good job Tora! Sorry I left after 20 minutes or whatever, It seemed like you had the brackets going fine, and I work 2am so I was tired as shit. Glad you got a good turnout , but yeah after hosting all the tournaments I have I know exactly what you mean by hectic. I also had to deal with a server crash once, hosting tournaments can be frustrating. Seeing everyone have a good time and lots of people on is rewarding though. Glad you got a good turnout and glad it all got finished.

I wanna give a big thanks to ~Tora~ for running this.  If there's gonna be another one next month, I'll try to have Mouse update the banner with the new dates once the pball tournament is over.  It's very generous of Tora to put his money on the line for the game.  Sorry about the server going down for a bit mid tourney, that sucked but seems most people knew to move to the backup to play a game or two before being able to head back to the main server.  My only suggestion for the future would be to have a public bracket during the tourney itself.  Otherwise, it couldn't have gone better and I hope we start getting 20 people regularly for these even if it means a quick exit for some of us, like me.

Yes I have decided a date,

I know I said we would host them on the last Saturday of every month, but the last Saturday of October will be Halloween ironically. 
Which is why I do believe it would be better to host it one week earlier.
Which means the next tournament will be held on October 24th same time, 4pm eastern.

Also I've been debating making it a weekend affair this time around. How does this sound guys Saturday Oct 24th will be 1s for gow and the next day Oct 25th same time will be 2s. (let me know if we should do gow or something else.)

As far as brackets go, I will post up a bracket before the start of the tourney this time around then I will fill it with names after the first round. Or I may try to get smeag to do it.
The main reason why I didn't really emphasis brackets on the sept tourney was because I didn't know how many people to expect. Or even who was playing since ppl generally just show up.
But now at least I do have a sence of who will show up this time around.
