Black Screen Problem

Hi there,

I downloaded your latest version of:
Warcraft II Battle.Net Edition 2.0 (Nostalgic)

Can you tell what was made to let the program run without DOSbox?

When I start the program I see there is no installation necessary to run and the install file coming with the package doesn`t work on Win8.
My problem is I can play Scenario without any issue, but when I start the campaign I get a BLACK SCREEN. Nothing happens and I have to quit with the task manager.

Personally I would assume a problem as there are video sequences in the campaign...? Any idea what I have to do or how the problem could be solved?
Compability mode was tested in any aspect, but without any result. Still black screen when starting campaign.

ive got a bne in dosbox but u have to boot a win98 etc...
but the diff is the original war2 is dos,bnet is win32

idk why your having a black screen.

if i was doing single player id probably use the 1.3/maybe its 1.5? beyond a dark portal and boot with dosbox.

Did you try regular war2combat instead? War2nostalgia is old & obsolete now that war2combat includes the campaign by default (just make sure to select the option when you install) war2combat doesn't include the music though, but you can add a few of the tracks by dling & running the war2music file from the downloads page
