I don't even have ftp access to my site right now. Once I get that, I'll change the forum link to point here. I should be able to recover most/all of the old forum and can just lock it for history purpose.

Good news about possible recover, we will wait!
You can also make a redirect for each page: from your_site/forum/viewtopic.php-t=XXXXX to this_site/forum/viewtopic.php-t=XXXXX, we will either setup the same forum engine+data on these pages or wake proper redirects to the nearest topics. So we can save all the search engine requests with their weights.
