like in any game updates happen right... blizzard - like remastered .. makes it standard i know we have a blizzard mode but the game should be auto matically hosted as that mode .. if anything there should be a old mode to host it back to the broken way .. js

blizzard mode means War2 remaster re-balance being released as a patch by Blizzard.

It means, people were forced to play the new game balance proposed by Blizzard on War2 Remaster, whether they wanted or not to stick with the non-sense bloodlust spam (game balance) since 30 years ago.

If people actually wanted your suggestion with a better game balance, just like the one proposed by Blizzard on Remaster, then this option would have been available since the release on Remaster, but on Combat Edition.

Apparently, people prefer the old 30 years old game balance with bloodlust spam every single game, so it has been kept the same as it is. But having Blizzard (rebalance) as option is still great, yet I have not seen a single game where people play this way. Not even in a tournament or showmatch.

There is no willpower to change it, besides its possible.

It's glorious and wonderful you think this way, but specially to want improving the game instead of sticking with same stuff for another 30 years or forever.

Unfortunately as it is, many people disagree with you or me in these war2 communities and think war2 game balance is perfect and should never ever be addressed or fixed up.

Many dudes are stubborn. Straight up, even if you use 3/16 spells or less than half units the game has to offer. In pretty much every single multiplayer game.

If there was way more willpower, the game would of course be way more interesting and attract more people.

The closest you can get to "set Blizzard rebalance mode" as by default, is what I suggested to this guy called Dudakurten for his ladder system.

I suggested him that if ever wanted to make another "ladder season", then force to play all games in "Blizzard-rebalance mode". So you get a fair chance to play and WIN as humans race.

The game used to be very limited to mod, just till 2020 but no more. The technology already exists to mod and fix the game in so many ways but its up to people and community to get better and way more variety.

you know what i might bring back the food chain... was a ladder system i did back in the days .. and make it mandatory for blizzard ver to be played ... that just gave me another idea .. we should make ladder or iron man only work with "blizzard" mode .. i mean its only fair it was done by the game creators its self all rebalanced as it should be

Considering it was made by retards at some 3rd party chop shop, i don't give 2 fucks about their 'balance changes', let alone the travesty that is the remaster release.

I'm in support, but I've noticed that most players are strongly attached to keeping things the same. A lot of it seems to come down to ego. They resist change and justify problems in the game as skill-related instead. I think it's more about not wanting to adapt.

a lot of conservative stubborn mindset. But it happens in every single game. Those people, unfortunately, are the most loud to talk and resist about game changes.

Not just referring to audio/visuals, but just even changing the game balance for the better.

This game has 16 spells. Every single game is just bloodlust or very little to see Death & decay/Blizzard, if humans ever played.


I think a very large amount of casual level people would like to play with everything the game has to offer, from spells to units but they simply dont speak good enough about wanting it.

Be that as it may, there're 2 "rebalanced modes" in Lobby, multiplayer games. For those who want something different, at least the alternatives already exist.
