I'm not expecting you to be.. but i am.

I lost my best friend of almost 12 years(Mud was his name) 2 days ago. He was a 1/2 lab, 1/2 pit mix. When I say "best friend" that's what I mean. I've had other dogs in the past. Lots of people have dogs and grow really close to them.. but we were best friends. It was just me and him for years. We spent countless hours in the woods together, and countless hours just being lazy laying around together. Other than work and places dog's weren't allowed, we were at each other's side. If I would have known what I know now, I would have named him Shadow. He was the best dog I could have ever asked for. We had a really special relationship

i dont think i'll be ready for another dog for a while.. but when i am ready i'd like to get another lab/pit mix. ive had a few dogs and he was great. i'd recommend the breed to anyone.. powerful, loyal, intelligent dogs.

Well that sux sorry man!

He had a good long life.

Around the age 12 I saw my dog die. I went out back and saw him hanging over the dog house. Long story short he must of ran around the dog house and jumped on top of it over time and slipped and began to hang. After that all my animals are indoor no chains ever.
