so about approve messages
you cannot imagine how many bots spam some ads as posts here
so we have this protection thing long ago
until user have 2 or 3 msg (i not remember how much) they need approve
otherwise forum will be full of posts like "hey guys come onto xyz size we have free c*** p*rn" and etc etc
those bots mostly do not bother to try pretend to be like real user and write some normal msg (i almost sure that 99% of them do not even know what is this forum about, they just automatic find some forums site and start spam), so 3 approved msg mosly enough, but ofc if user start some spam shit after he was approved we will ban him (i basically never saw this happens though)

oh wow hi man
i happy to see that at last someone was actually interested in sorce codes and programming
im the creator of this war2mod
for testing purposes i mostly use my local server on my pc before sending changes to main serv
i can share you my local serv build if you want
maybe we can try talk in discord?

i will be happy if there will be someone who can also do more new changes and fixes for war2mod
if you make cool changes i can add them to main serv no problem

too much hardcoded
all map props and gameplay arrays max sizes are adamantly set to 128 and 16384 (128x128)
and you cannot even imagine in how many places in code this is ironclad and very hardcoded

i maked plugin that allows some parts of map to be from different tileset
but the problem is that game have only 256 colors so they will all use palette from 1 tilset
but you can make like more tiles variants for if you really want, just need to be in same palette colors

well i can just show you how we maked sprites for our mods
we use special prog to edit png files then convert to grp
