Server.War2.ru / Unable to host a game after following all instructions

Both my 12 year old son and I have completed the installation and I'm unable to host a game because of a latency issue.  It says my port 6112 is closed.  I followed all of the directions with forwarding ports and even the DMZ hosting, but it still isn't working.  Please help.
