If I wanted to see when someone last logged in I would typically type in /whereis USERNAME and it will give me a month, day and last time seen. But, it does not give the year. It says September or something for some old friends but I feel as though it was September of 2015 not 2018. Is it possible to integrate this? I get that it's kind of useless but I have like 80 on my friends list and some may either be on smurfs or quit long long ago and it'd be nice to be able to document w2 history a little bit.

Xurnt, you could start playing that old 100% win map (similar to mini golf concept but open) where its the smallest 32x32 space and you do 2 vs 1 comp and record a win every 2 minutes and do it until you have thousands and thousands! That was how some of us would inflate stats back on east in the good ole days.

I think something else to consider is that the map selection on war2 has become significantly simplified due to a small player base. For the last many years Gow + Chop and sometimes something like NWTR or HSC have been the dominant maps. Chop is great for many people but for some people it is off putting. Most chop players have like 5k-20k games played on that map at this point, making it difficult for someone like me to compete. If I have a neighbor, I lose like 90% of the time, making it less fun for me.
I've never given it an honest try either, but that's because I'm a lazy player. I'd rather not click on every peon to power chop for optimal gameplay, I'd rather not have super high APM to compete every game, and that's probably because of personal war2 fatigue. This is just me but I can only assume that at least some other people fall into this category too. It's not that chop is necessarily a bad map, because it's not, but the barrier to entry is high because the community is 'pretty good' to 'great' at that map. It's one of the primary reasons why I won't play. I'd probably be pretty good at it eventually and become like a tier 2 player at it, but I'm satisfied with Gow and customs like archers.

Office or living room in your home. Laptops can be kept in your bedroom but should not put a desk in your bedroom for computer.

+1 Preach baby preach. We need to learn how to not be trolled and respond to stuff like that. The forums and sometimes game itself are filled with negativity; usually by the same people. Let's start fresh!

Replacing the ddraw file, messing around with resolution and scaling did not work either. Anyone else have any ideas?
Edit: Mousey provided me with a ddraw file that allows me to enter full mode but it distorts the features and is relatively zoomed in, making optimal play not an option. This laptop is relatively old, Windows 8 Intel, so I think the best solution will be to get a new laptop soon. For now, it works but if anyone games with me expect rustiness and like 80% play at best <3

alt + enter has no effect and does not alter the windowed mode. The windowed mode is stuck in the top left screen and i cant even move it around with the mouse.
I am unsure how to change the ddraw, i'm an extreme noob when it comes to adjusting properties and folders of applications and games. I am on the discord server in General Chat if anyone is available to help please!

Server.War2.ru / Windowed Mode Problem - HELP!

I have a new laptop and tried downloading war2. I've reinstalled it several times selecting different settings and editing properties to normal window etc. It's still in windowed mode and in the top left of my screen. It's easy to click off the screen and incredibly difficult to play. Any suggestions?

i likely cannot make this, unless it's super quick. I'm training my staff. I got plugged in today and have to take them out for beers. I'll try to push it back but it'll be pretty lame if I skip a social event that I hosted to play. I will try though!

Several people on the server, including myself have money to begin a bigger and better war2 but it just doesn't seem to gain any traction. I have been googling warcraft 2 a lot lately with different keywords, and there are several dozen forums with posts as far back as 2001 until 2018 with people discussing how to play war2. I have made accounts and advertise en.war2.ru.
However, for whatever reason, unless you specifically search war 2 combat edition, you can't really find this server, making it still a large unknown. You can pay the host of the website to have this found more, which could result in hundreds if not thousands more downloads. I'm trying to make this a reality. Don't derail my optimism!
