Ha. Hey dude. Good hearing from you.

No I'm corporate AF. I run a Finance/strategy team at a big company. Was a consultant/lawyer. Unmarried, no kids. I'm 34. Way less incel than when I played a lot though.

Pretty moderate but with a slight libertarian bend politically.

Lived in NYC, Dallas, Atlanta. In Miami for covid.

I wonder how fucked up / interesting everyone who played back in the day is. I think Sappy went to NYU law and was at a great law firm. I lost his real name, though. Lot of smart people. I feel like this made me smarter and both better and worse socially.

As of 2004 or so, the top players were almost certainly:

KHB
Ash
Valkrie, even without hacking
yah'mon although he may have hacked
Nerzyman

There were great players before that, like DethWlkr and Azteca. And those two were likely better than some of the above when all played regularly. But they stopped and the others got better.

And I wonder if there have been any major updates in how the game is played in the last 17 years. Maybe faster mouse clicking and all. But what do people do differently now?

The King of the Hillbilly series is probably the best way to analyze this.
