Some time ago Ive started to learn Node JS and was thinking about creating a browser game. I didn't created any game yet, but somehow during the development I ended up with a map viewer for Warcraft 2 maps. You can check it here: http : / / 1 0 9 . 1 2 0 . 1 5 5 . 2 4 : 3 0 0 0 / m a p v i e w e r

You can choose a map from the drop-down list, pan it with mouse (work a bit sluggish), zoom in/out. Also you can upload your own map with Select and Upload buttons. Uploaded Map should have Summer terrain.
Also I created a few huge maps like 192x192 and 256x256, they are also can be selected from the drop-down list.
Please Note! Site works well only in Chrome, I didnt test it with other browsers.
It would be great to know any feedback and opinions from the wc2 community. Of course event HTML5 and Node JS dont let you to replicate WC2 gameplay in browser, but a little and simple game with wc2 graphics can be created for sure.
