Yep, I get stuck at checking versions as well.  Mouse's server - instant connection with no problems.

i don't think we need to relive the lance server debate again now.  it may have been safe and amazing, nobody ever found out anything to the contrary, but lance was not a trusted figure in the community in any way at that time.

He is now tho in my mind and il's as well.

I'm not accusing anyone, but I've heard war2.us or whatever, Space and Lances wc2 version was full of viruses. I heard at the time and after that it had a trojan that was a keylogger and would take control of your keyboard, mic, camera, everything. I don't know if it was true but that is what I heard different times, I was also told if you still had a copy of that program you can upload it to a site and see the viruses/trojans still. I don't know what to believe and didn't then, and if it is true I agree with Il that Lance seems to truly want to help wc2 now. Everything I heard about war2.us was good, I heard it had a custom ladder and other cool stuff at the time. Il is right though everyone thought it had trojans that would key log your comp at the time.

Hahaha that's nonsense.  I used the war2 us client for a while on ru as it fixed my hosting and it was totally clean.

Ddos protection leads to connection problems.  There was only 1 ddos attack in 7 Years. Not worth it.

what did blizz host with back in the day? t1-t3 pentium 3 servers?
il's host is at his work right?i kinda feel bad if he is paying for a server.

i did like lance's server but center of drama back in what 09 with feature, space.
if anything i would just go to mousey's

I would rather stay with iL than mouse. She doesn't even play much, knows nothing about programming and security, her server lags with more than 20 ppl on it (cheap home internet). Lance is the best option.

IL please give the server to lance. The numbers are continuing to drop and your new hosting provider Is a huge failure and is ruining what little there is left of the player base. war2 us was the most awesome thing for war2 ever and I was so sad when it wasn't supported due to retarded personal fueds and egos.

Standard... I was just on and it was lagged bad.  Is it time to move to Mouse's server permanently and make ru the back-up?  Hers was lightning fast.
