Title: Here's my status - 45 days into operation
Post by: turtleman on April 18, 2025, 11:10:28 PM: Create 17 youtube videos with roughly 200 hours of recording and video editing labor, receiving 5200 views, 275 hours of watch time, 56 subscribers - about 10% of what it requires for youtube to consider giving me a penny.

Created a Patreon, twitch, bluesky, tiktok, teamliquid, reddit, github, dropbox, paypal, etc account. Spam my videos - spending many hours getting banned from subreddits and listening to fucking fat retards tell me they're downvoting me.

Spending dozens of hours researching web technology and creating media images.

Spending hours researching all aspects of this game, it's history and game development lifecycles and addressing the main pain points of the new version of the game.

Shit, there's a lot more and I'm not spending any more time on this bullshit all to say that this....

I'm soft launching My warcraft arena site hopefully in the next week or two and maybe it would be wise to coordinate streaming times so that Warcraft 2 is being streamed 24/7

U8 streams regularly. On the weekends Shotgun streams. DannyLLD streams regularly. Babyshark streams mostly on the weekends. Who else streams or wants to stream? There's a big gap right now

So the off-times are in Eastern Standard time: Monday to Thursday 3 am to 5pm

so basically I'm going to keep my channel running as long as twitch allows it so there's always war2 content

I might combine my arena episodes and toggle them back and forth

I feel like their attention span/motivation won't be enough at that point. I would think a 10-20min tutorial would be more effective for beginners. The 2-4 hour one can be intermediate/advanced. Beginners need to know how to rush, scout, gay, and defend I would think. At least that is what I teach new people.
