Title: The Human Campaign Challenge

Has anybody successfully beaten the Great Portal level of the human campaign without the gyphon rush? I'm trying to figure out if it is even possible to set up a transport without being immediately destroyed by the death knights.

you refer to mission Human14 on Tides of darkness. Yes its very possible and played through here, even with a mod that makes base game difficulty even harder:

i know some peoples played war2 original campanigns with challenges like
only footman
only archers
and even only workers
so obviously no gryphons
you can find those videos in youtube
