Ok so I've been thinking of hosting a tournament for war2 with a cash prize
my idea is i'll put up 100 bucks of my own money and take donations to pad the prize pool
i'll advertise the tournament and make some content around it on my youtube channel
so the idea will be that i'll randomly give out cash prizes to people that show up and play in the tournament and anyone can join, so i think that'll convince a lot of people to log in just for the chance of winning some money
So who has experience hosting tournaments, can you help me and is there like a free tournament bracket thing that can handle a lot of people
What would be a reasonable size tournament
as far as the client, is there any way to release a version that windows doesn't think is sketchy
also while i'm at it, is there any way to add like a 'dark mode' to this forum, i can't see shit (fighting some vision issues at the moment)

hi, for brackets you can use: https://challonge.com/
what do you mean about this? "as far as the client, is there any way to release a version that windows doesn't think is sketchy "
and what map(s) are you planning to set up for your tournament ?
good idea!

thanks
maps im thinking fierce ocean combat, nowhere to run or hide, no way out of this maze, one way in,
probably start with single elimination on one way in
and what i mean is when you download and install the game, windows says this program could be dangerous

There is a tournament next weekend with $1000 prize

the program is safe and its been used for over 6 years. Also, are you installing war2Combat v5.0 ? this one i read recently that is built up in a different way that stops giving this false virus alarm

is that on here or remastered? i dont see anything on the tournament forum on here

Not sure if you can see. It’s public but look on challenge for dudakurten. There are dozens of tours with rule in each one there.

Yeah when I run that, I get "Windows protected your PC
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk."
