I don't think SMF distinguishes between "ability to delete own thread" and "ability to delete own empty thread", does it? Either you can delete threads (and all their contents) or you can't.

I do think the new forums are an improvement in that there's no longer a mandatory three month waiting period for account activation, and the software isn't ten years out of date, and we have great new features like marquees.
