Well what spot is the best?
i think 12 personally, good expo at s12, good wood, good choke, ease of offensive positioning on other spots, decent gold flow..

12, it's great in 1v1s and 4v4s with s12 being an easy expansion in 4v4s, its harder to expand at any other spot unless people die and you take there mine. 12 bypasses this by simply chopping to s12 and making it part of the main base, no extra defending.

I like 11 the best. If you do the double chop at first you have a great gold flow. Extra 5k in the mine, easy expansions and you can wall off certain sections of the map to tunnel traffic,through the middle. 11 pwns

9 and 11 are the best by far in my opinion. They have most of the early game advantages. And it's easier to bunker in for defense mid / late game, compared to 12/2 or 4/5. After that, 5 is probably the best. Then 12 and 2.

I think there is no best spot overall. It depends on the style of the 2 players matching up. Against an early game player I'd love 11 as I can end games after securing 9 from under and controlling the path to mid. Against an aggressive player, I'd like 12 as it cannot be walled and due to that, so often people go too aggressive and lose out on engagments. I passionately hate 6.

Hahaahaha! The point is people try to kill/pressure you 12/2 so hard that you can forsee and counter their every move as long as you're not drunk gaming at 5 am!
