i know i need to lower digital volume in the game..

It seems to be a common problem. I'd guess either mic boost setting under OBS settings > audio

or lower war2 volume in the audio mixer

I will toy with it more when I get home. Digital volume in the actual game did not seem to do anything

i wonder why the audio is so horrible for war2 on windows 10.. my voice sounds fine, but the bass sounds associated withbuildings sound all distorted like a speaker is blown.

Are you recording your sound game from your speaker to mic?

I had the volume on the game turned way down. It was recorded through the laptop.

The mic boost probably will help if you haven't tried that already. I also recommend war2observe! Nice to see the return of tk commentary vids
