Post by: WarUltras89 on August 27, 2016, 10:16:21 AM
It's possible play with same connection?
My brother and I would like to play against but when we play together there are connection problems(latency too high when i create a game..... )
And when we play the game with other users it is very slow

Yes if you install the latest combat version it will change your game data port, add each port for each client into your router and boom it should work.

Here is a tutorial to do it manually.

FYI though, a lot of the time 2 or more players on the same network won't be able to join each other's games because of lag, even when ports are assigned/forwarded correctly. In that case it might be necessary to use a VPN on all but one of the computers, here's a guide: http://en.war2.ru/support/multiple-people-on-same-network-have-high-latency-lag/ (http://en.war2.ru/support/multiple-people-on-same-network-have-high-latency-lag/)

VPN is unsecure, be cautious when using it. [emoji39]

Using Tunnelbear, it gives me the error of port 6112 is closed ... Without Tunnelbear I can create games but not always latency issues only for my brother playing with the same connection :( :(

Good, glad it's working! Tunnelbear is free indefinitely I think but limited to 500MB per month. I think you can tweet about them from the app to get an additional 1GB but that probably only applies to the first month. And like easycompany said make sure to only use tunnelbear when you're actively gaming, so you don't waste data on general Internet browsing.

Sorry, should've clarified about that. I'll update the page on the site to try to make it clearer.
