naw blizzard has a "small team" since 2013 or so i read for these older games.

Guys please forget about warcraft II Battle net edition.
Blizzard will never do nothing for this game anymore.
When you start an account from battle net, you got the possibility to register all your games from blizzard in that account.
Obviously every game battle net release since 1996 are there except Warcraft I and II.
End of the story.

Believe what you all want my ticket was just recently closed. It all started because my email was disabled and I need them to change it. I asked in the same ticket if they had plans for warcraft 2 and if they did I know some nasty bugs to be fixed. I was told give me new email and I verified my account and got that done. He also said what types of problems for warcraft 2 are you talking about. I said well besides of the main cheats well known there is one that would allow people to ban each other if they are not host of lobby which is known in starcraft that was no surprise to them. But I told him that I can use any cheat code online with out going out of sync (you know the hacks that are impossible). I also told them this works on starcraft, starcraft brood war on current patches. BOOM now they are serious and asks me for a sample exe which I compiled for war2, starcraft, and sent them.
If my hacks get patched from blizzard I will be happy!!!
