Well I'm sure iL has his required specs but let's get a decent amount of ram, cpu, ddos, bandwidth, security. 300-400$ a year would be a bad ass server I will throw down 100-200 but I don't want to invest in a shitty server. Who's gonna match me or join me?

Shouldn't be our jobs to financially support this server. The admins who are placed in charge to manage it should be. We already do our part in help trying to keep this server active by playing. I applaud Tupac for offering and I expect him to be admin if he does end up contributing. We all have roles here, an admins job shouldn't just be to decide who to ban.

Our current server have even less resources:
512Mb RAM (not quite enough, but i hope to optimize it for memory usage).
15 GB HDD, looks fine. Of course 30Gb would be better.
I also suspect not perfect HDD performance (too low speed sometimes). Not sure how to check that before real server migration.

I once bought there a dedicated server for the web site Internet shop with a large number of users. There were no problems.
The point is that you take a dedicated server with more resources, a high bandwidth, in a large datacenter. And as far as DDOS protection is concerned, I think iL can easily realize it by software. IMHO!
