Title: The Babadook
Post by: UncleBobbo on October 31, 2015, 11:37:27 PM
Just saw this movie.  SPOILER ALERT.

The Babadook makes the same noise that the dragons in war2 make when you click them/move them.  It does this a total of at least four times and totally distracted me from the movie.  Seemed really out of place.  I also have heard the "pig farm" oinking noise in movies before.  OMFG.  Discuss.

Haha

Ya I watched it last month, I think it's still on Netflix.

Good Aussie film, not bad for low budget. Keeps you on your feet with the story instead of cheap visual effects like most modern horror films.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a few horror movies with war2 sounds. lol.

Bababook was ok from what I remember, haven't seen it since probably around the time it came out, not bad when you consider it was a directorial debut (Jennifer Kent).

Australia has very good horror films like Wolf Creek, Storm Warning, The Loved Ones, Long Weekend.

Wolf Creek is pretty bad, IMO.

I want to be on the list too

Although I havent seen this one, I have heard a fan-theory about it that might have spoiled it for me.
