Server.War2.ru / Br League - Season 4 started!

Hello guys,

Its open the season 4, good luck to everyone and the most important...have fun.

Some rules to remember:

(i) Players have 2 weeks to find each other and play their games (only in your division). Are 3 different maps and not necessary needs to be play in the same day but on the end players should complete their 12 games (3 against each player of same tier - except tier 5 where have one more player/3 more games).

(ii) Games can be played already and the last day to finish the games 23th August 23:59 CET time.

(iii) Prizes for Tier 1 division only: USD 20/10/5.

(iv) #1 and #2 of each division are promoted and #4 and #5 are demoted - tier 5 last 3 will be demoted.

(v) Any new joiner will start from the last division.

(vi) Disconnect case I hope both player can decide what to do. They can decide a rematch or who won...without an agreement who lost the connection will receive the loss. Any problem here can be treated directly with me please, lets keep it fair.

(vii) Maps: Garden of War - classic / Bridge to bridge combat- classic / Arena - classic expansion

(viii) Lead is defined by the number of victories, if tie, by the players direct match history, if tie by the number of games.

(ix) All games must be even faster speed and high resources.

(x) Player give up I: will decided what to do. If he has zero games it will be consider loss in all games and removed from the league (unless the player is in a long trip or justify then he will not be removed, only demoted).

Any match played can be posted here, or just message me on battle.net or discord. Trying to make it more simple possible.

Hello everyone.

Following some suggestions I was thinking to create some kind of ranking/history.

I did on this way with the following criterias:

Pts p/ place: If the season has 10 players the first will get 10pts, second 9pts ............and last 1pt.

Pts p/ win: Each win 1 point.

Pts p/ championship: Champion 10 pts, 2nd 5 pts, 3rd 3 pts. Promotion 2 pts, Demotion -1 pt, W.O during the season -2 pts.

League points: The sum of all above.

The critical situation for the moment is to help people find their games during the season. (Maybe give a fixed time as well? e.g. "everyday on the channel 10pm cest when possible to join" - may increase the chances to find each other.

Another point is a way to get the videos from the games, Could be interesting.

Some considerations:

(i) Theboy gave up as soon as the season 2 started. Will be welcome to join back when wish, but starting from last division.

(ii) Wargasm and Lale ended tied but without finish their games. Everyone had 2 weeks to play so I decided to demoted both and nobody got the 3rd place due the impossibility to appoint a winner.

(iii) Due to the triple demotion on tier1 division 3 players got promoted instead 2.

(iv) Danii asked to be removed from the next season.

Hello everyone,

I am running a 1vs1 league with my Brazilians friends and I would like to expand to the community.
Despite my low level and the fact that I play more team games I really appreciate some kind of competitive 1vs1 games and on almost 2 months that I am playing this game I could not find anything similar (maybe was done on the past).

See below the current status of season 1, its in portuguese but I believe that is totally readable.

The current format (Season 1) are 9 players who have 2 weeks to play each other on the 3 maps (GoW - GSEW and Cross the streams).
I think the flexibility to have 2 weeks to find the player and get the game is better than expect to everyone joining at the same time with the obligation to stay for hours online (specially now where most of us should be 30 years more hehe)

Saying that, the Season 2 will have:

(i) 3 divisions with 5 players each.

(ii) Same rule of 3 maps (always GoW + 2 to be chosen)

(iii) Duration of 2 weeks to have the games against the player of your division and inform me the result (to simplify can be via bnet, discord or forum).

(iv) Promotion/demotion system on the divisions

(v) Starts 13th July

(vi) Prizes every season: First division only #1 USD 20 #2 USD 10 #2 USD 5.

At moment I got around 9 players confirmed and I am looking for more players. If more than 6 wanna join us, the season 2 will have more divisions.
I will decide in which division you start. Dont worry if looks unfair because the season ends each 2 weeks and you can get promoted soon.

For the Season 3 and after, new joiners will start on the last division.

Yes I am noob, yes I play humans and yes, I will start on the last division.

Olá galera,

Conforme prometido, to fazendo a Liga Br, primeira temporada.
Regras simples, sem tomar muito tempo do pessoal (que parece ser muito ocupado rsrs).

Regras:

(i) 9 jogadores.
(ii) Todos contra todos bo1 por rodada.
(iii) Cada um joga 8 jogos por rodada.

Hello everyone, my first topic here.....lets see.

First of all I would like to say thanks to a lot of people who helped me and was patient enough to let me play some games (specially on beginning haha). I will not mention all the people who keeping helping me because will be a lot.....but my special thanks go to Trogallart, without him I don't even knew this game, lol.
Back on the 2000s I used to play starcraft/bw and I never knew it WC2 had a bnet version until I saw some forum post of Trogallart (on blizzard or Gog forum, not sure) last month. Since there I started to play on GoG every weekends (we are still playing and everyone is welcome - all levels) and weekdays on Russian server.

I am really enjoying this game and, a little bit of nostalgia from my side, I would like to see some clan wars or anything like this.

Goblin allowed me to speak on behalf of AA., saying that, it is a pleasure to announce our first challenge:

AA. vs Brazilians.

Rules: 5 games bo1 on GoW (4 1vs1 / 1 2vs2).
8 PM CET time Sunday 20th Jun.

All you need to challenge us is 4 players, then we can discuss format and maps.
