But coach Gregg Popovich didn’t blame the NBA schedule makers for the loss. He blamed the Spurs’ ritual after big wins, which on Saturday were lead by veteran Tim Duncan.

“I’m not going to make excuses for them,” Popovich told reporters in Charlotte’s Time Warner Cable Arena after the Spurs fell to the Hornets 91-88. “Saturday, Timmy took them out for some of that room temperature tap water that he uses to celebrate big wins. Maybe he can handle it, but for a lot of guys, you know, that’s too much.”

Popovich, who is known for having a typically prickly demeanor almost smiled, saying, “Heck, I almost joined ’em,” before sternly adding, “now I may need a glass just to calm down.”

how fucking bizarre is this... http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/25486811/overview.aspx

this doofus in my league has a 114k player he gives a whopping .7 mpg ..

yet he's 3rd in his division with a 7-2 record and 2nd overall in the league in PD...

if he plays his PG, keeps his team in good game shape, he's probably the best team in the league. or he can sell the pg and save a shitload of money and still be a top 5 team.. basically this guy has brain damage.

potential has no effect on speed until the cap is reached.

i got much better game shape this week and average DMI is higher than it's ever been - because i'm actually focusing on it now. i think i can make the finals in this worthless league even with my shitty roster.

kind of annoyed Shi Qingming didn't pop, he's only pitiful jump shot so i figured he'd have popped this week.. but maybe training JS for forwards is slower training for a 5'11 player, than training JS  for guards?? patrick not popping isn't surprising he's 7'1, js training is slow for these tall guys.

I think short guys should pop handling easier but not the other guard skills and big guys should pop rebounding and blocking.
