[done] Black Screen in Campaign

Hello!

I have noticed a few people have posted about this issue, with little resolve, so I thought I would also revive the topic.

I pulled out my old Warcraft 2 cd a few weeks ago, installed it on my computer with Windows 10.
Have had no issues, until I came on the #12 orc campaign for Tides of Darkness.
It goes straight to dark with no responses from keys until I just switch out of the program.
I am playing from the regular program source, from a shortcut on my desktop.
I have installed the ddraw patch to see if it would help, but it has not.
I am about to restart my computer to see if it will be of any help. If it is, I'll instantly respond with a fixed, but if no response, then the issue is still happening.

Just a follow up-the restart did not work.
Also, I uninstalled the game, but left out the save file.
Reinstalled the game, put the save file back in the save folder.
Same thing happened.
Black screen when attempting to start the campaign. Just to clarify even more, this did not happen for the first 11 campaigns of the orc campaign in TOD.
I attempted to just begin the human campaign and the same thing happened, so it would not even let me begin that campaign.

I downloaded the game file off of this website to try that out, but also no solution

use cheat tigerlily orc12 if still crash try all mission expect mission 12 orc X  human X  xorc X xhuman X where X is number mission

Unsure what resolved it. I have multiple disk drives on my computer.
I was on the drive that I keep all my games on. I tried installing it on the main drive.
It worked perfectly. Even the save file worked.
I am honestly stunned and constantly proven that I know nothing.
