i agree with the part that the only thing they have in common is that they are both addictions.
my thoughts? its that, obviously, any addiction is bad.
that online gaming, for me at least, it does interfere with real life planning as the article said and have to maintain it to a very few hours a week.
at maximum 5 hours a week or else... (only play war2, cant even start to imagine those dudes playing mmos 12hrs a day but thats their prob not mine)
i might even replace this online gaming for a real life hobby.. dunno, scuba diving, archaelogical hiking, flying a drone with drugs over the border or something.
